Exclusions
Unless specifically otherwise agreed in the confirmation of insurance, the following are excluded:
- Liability of any kind that may arise as a result of an accident.
- Any losses arising from an accident (consequential losses such as failure to win prize money, reduction in value etc.).
- Shipping or transport costs for the object of the insurance or for parts thereof (by whatever means, including post or courier service etc.).
- Loss or damage incurred as a result of explosion, mechanical or electrical failure, breakdown,
fracture or malfunction.
- Loss or damage that occurs during work on the car or which could have been caused by such
work, excepting fire damage in the event that this is covered.
- Wear and tear, cracking, aging and increasing deterioration of the car.
- Damage to the motor and/or gearbox caused by overreviewing or faulty gear changing, also
damage to tyres and wheels.
- Loss or damage caused by:
- Ionising radiation or radioactive contamination from any nuclear fuels or through a leak in connection with the use of nuclear fuels.
- Radioactivity, toxicity, explosiveness or any other reaction connected with nuclear fuels.
- War.
- Loss or damage directly caused either by pressure waves from aeroplanes or other supersonic devices, or by crashing manned or unmanned flying objects.
- Labour costs for the removal and replacement of mechanical wearing parts, also costs of regular servicing.
- Cost of painting over and above the vehicle's basic colour, as well as decorative paintwork or stickers.
- All motor oils, cooling liquids and other fluids, also replaceable parts such as brake discs, brake pads or shoes, brake callipers and linings.
